Social Enterprise Schools

What

Social Enterprise Schools is a practical, student-led curriculum aligned experience that develops citizenship and enterprise capabilities. It brings students, teachers, staff, local entrepreneurs and the community together to make a positive social impact. Through the process of setting up their own social enterprise and deciding their social purpose, students develop and strengthen new and different skills, mindsets and behaviours to help them realise their potential. Teachers and students are supported with a guided 10-stage learning journey delivered in class with students taking the lead.

Why

More than ever, we need innovative and sustainable solutions to tackle the complex challenges we face as a society. Social enterprise is a way to realise large scale positive change and recognise the capacity of young people to lead this change and help realise their full potential.
