The Root Cause is a national children’s health transformation social enterprise. They provide a range of services including educational resources, in-school workshops through to online cooking classes, a podcast, books, menu plans, lunchbox ideas and recipes.
Why
To improve the health of young people The Root Cause runs an in-school incursion called The Mad Food Science Program. It aims to encourage healthy eating by providing young people with the knowledge, skills and understanding about the importance of a good diet, what the right nutrition does and how to maintain or develop healthy habits from the early years.
