WILDSIDE

What

WILDSIDE is a one-day program for up to 30 Stage 3 student leaders to share a focus on play through engagement with nature-based activities for younger students.

Why

The WILDSIDE program works to build resilient and connected school communities. It develops leadership qualities in a wide cross-section of students, not just those normally chosen.

How

WILDSIDE leaders are encouraged to believe in and value themselves and become role models for these qualities in younger students. Involvement enables students to support each other, take responsibility and make positive choices. A teachers’ toolkit helps select student leaders. On the day, WILDSIDE is delivered to your school by two experienced facilitators who work interactively with students.
