Child Safe Statement
Our Commitment to Child Safety
Living Ripples is a space for wellbeing growth, sharing, and connection. We are committed to being a child safe organisation with zero tolerance for child abuse, always acting in the best interests of children.
We value and uphold the cultural safety of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, children from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, and children with disabilities. Our goal is to create enriching experiences where children feel safe, respected, and empowered.
We provide ongoing training and support for our team to ensure child safety is embedded in everything we do.
We will meet all legal and moral obligations to report concerns about a child’s safety to the appropriate authorities. To achieve this, we will:
- Foster a culture of child safety where all team members understand and follow this Code of Conduct and their responsibilities to protect children from harm.
- Prevent and protect children from physical, sexual, emotional, psychological, and cultural abuse or neglect, in both physical and online environments.
- Ensure all suspected abuse is reported and responded to in line with our policies and procedures.
