What
ReWild Your School (RYS) is a practical curriculum-aligned nature-based education program designed for Stage 3 learners. The program connects and supports young people and facilitates purposeful and sustainable local habitat creation.
Why
The RYS program works directly to improve students’ physical, cognitive, social and emotional wellbeing and act on the importance of biodiversity within their school and local community.
How
RYS is a structured program that guides teachers to support their learners through 10 lessons, known as Actions. With all resources provided, the program develops knowledge in local biodiversity and skills in biodiversity conservation techniques. Each class champions a local animal as a case study to build awareness and its habitat. Schools can also participate in an incursion. janegoodall.org.au/rewild-your-school
