What
This practitioner guide helps schools prepare for the annual Living Ripples survey process.
Why
To help schools explain to students and parents and carers why the survey is being done and to establish an agreed way to approach the survey. This way, the data collected will be relevant and accurate and better able to inform and support the school’s wellbeing and resilience strategies and programs.
When
Because people participate in activities for many reasons and often fall into two categories: must or want to. Having participants want to complete this survey is about meeting their needs before the survey window opens.
Who
The resource is designed to support schools explaining the Living Ripples survey requirements to teachers and through them, their students and for parents and carers.
Where
Before the survey window opens for the school, communicated to students in class or at an assembly and through the newsletter or written material for families.
