State of the Nation 2023

What

Resilient Youth State of the Nation Report 2023 is The Univeristy of Adelaide’s publication providing an annual measure of the wellbeing and resilience of Australian school students.

Why

The report spotlights attention on the importance of wellbeing given its critical importance for children and young people to thrive. The 2023 Report is the third in the series. Data is presented in key result areas for primary and secondary students collected across more than 1,000 schools in all states and territories. The Resilience Survey is a proprietary instrument of Resilient Youth Australia, a partner of Living Ripples. The survey captures insights into aspects of their emotional and mental lives and behaviours that may not be visible to parents, carers or teachers and consolidates findings and compares against Australian norms.

How

Data is collected using an online school delivered survey, the same process used in the Living Ripples Model.
