Be3 is a fun, evidence-based wellbeing and character literacy program for students in Grades 1–4, developed by The Wellbeing Distillery in partnership with the VIA Institute on Character and playmeo.
Be3 helps young learners build wellbeing and character literacy alongside vital social and emotional skills, fostering student wellbeing through a blend of play, practice and purpose.
The program delivers learning through three simple pathways within one framework: Belong (building strong connections through active, cooperative games), Become (learning and practising essential wellbeing skills) and Beyond (discovering how to apply practical tactics in everyday life). Students learn to use their character strengths beyond the classroom, to benefit both themselves and others.
Be3 is built on the latest social and emotional research and is aligned with the Australian Curriculum. Delivery is play-based and practical, with active, age-appropriate experiences that help students connect, reflect and grow. The program is designed to be adaptable for every teacher – clear session scripts and flexible delivery options make implementation simple and effective whether the educator is a beginner or highly experienced, ensuring consistent quality of delivery without requiring specialist wellbeing expertise.
